A winner last time out and put up 16lbs in the handicap since GENERAL HUBBLE has a penalty to carry here in the opener at Punchestown. We have Carl Millar in the saddle to try and run him off his previous mark and hopefully all goes to plan.

UNDENIABLE ALIBI can hopefully prove himself here in a very open field. He has had a break before this but can hopefully put his best foot forward under Jack Kennedy.

MAGIC THUNDER hasn’t shown his previous french form but hopefully he can put that behind him here in this 3yo hurdle with Jack Kennedy booked to ride.

Finally for Punchestown we have TUMUCH who was an expensive p2p purchase and will be having his first spin over hurdles for us. He should be better suited to this sort of assignment and will have Jack Kennedy in the saddle.

Today we have just the one runner over in Cheltenham but it is none other than the Paddy Power Irish Gold Cup winner CONFLATED. His season hasn’t quite got off to the perfect start and the ground was too quick for him the last day. His entry in this race has highlighted the potential issue with the March event becoming a handicap, Conflated is the only horse who is currently in the handicap and his high mark pushes the rest to bear a heavier weight than their mark suggests. With this in mind we have Rob James in the saddle claiming 7lbs. He has won for us before around Cheltenham so hopefully he can add another to his tally here.
