Ballinrobe and Ayr runners

It was great to finally get over the bump and lock in our 2000th winner at Down Royal yesterday. Today we have runners in Ireland and the UK.

Firstly over to Ireland we start our Irish runners with NOBLE BIRTH, This horse has been in good form and is ready to go and this looks like a good place to go. It’s a competitive looking race.

For the beginners chase we have CALL ME LYREEN. He changes things up today as he starts out over fences. This looks another nice spot to start from and where he can get a decent education and can hopefully run a reasonable race. He was a very good hurdler and can hopefully get off to a good start over fences.

For the handicap chase we have ONE DOWN who only has 10-10 on his back. Needs to come back to form to land a blow here but if he can return to form he could hopefully feature.

Finally in the bumper we have CALDWELL DIAMOND. He has run well on all his starts to date and has lost nothing in defeat. Based off that he can hopefully go well with Lisa O’Neill in the saddle.

Over in Ayr we start the day with TED HASTINGS in the maiden hurdle. He is a point to point winner who has run well in races over here and has his first run over hurdles and he will have Sean Bowen in the saddle. Showbusiness is a non-runner.

For the class 3 Handicap Chase we have IMPERIAL SACHIN’S who put up a really good performance the last day to come home 4th in a similar contest and he should like the ground here as well. Sean Bowen has been booked to ride.

Next up is RUN FOR PAT in the handicap hurdle over 3m. He looked like he might suit a step up in trip which is what we’ve done here. He is a nice horse with some good form and this will be his first time in handicap company and he will have Sean Bowen in the saddle.

For the mares Novice hurdle we have HOLLYMOUNT. It was great to get a win on her score sheet and she will have come on for that. She probably won’t have it all her own way here but if she can run to the same standard as the last day she should have a decent shout.

For the bumper we have COME ON DU BERLAIS who has her first outing here. She comes from a very good family and can hopefully make the right impression here with Sean Bowen in the saddle.
